Beautiful property. If you want a great place to take a walk in nature without having to go on an actual hike, this is a great option. Most pathways are easily traversed and there are so many beautiful scenes to take in. Bring a camera to capture some nice pics. Overcast days and “golden hour” are great times for photos.
A stunning garden encompassing many different plants and beauty everywhere. Easy to spend 1-2 hours here taking everything in and enjoying it all. Peaceful and tucked away in the mountains overlooking the world.
I liked the focus on native plants, relatively small size of the place and very friendly staff. Was worth driving up the hill.
Probably a nice garden - but $20 per head was a hindrance for us, a shame!
Probably a beautiful garden - but $20 per person was an obstacle for us! What a pity.
Amazing for kids and adults alike
So beautiful! Love that they have a nursery there where you can buy CA native plants
What a cool place, it's way up in the hills so I didn't know it was here honestly until someone told me about it. It's all CA native plants. I came here for an engagement in late Spring and we had poppies which were lovely. Redwood grove is my favorite part.
Those who are not experts in botany, like me, will probably be a little disappointed. However, visiting the garden can be a nice and relaxing experience. The redwood forest is beautiful, for those who have not yet seen the national parks. Visited mid November. Entry costs $20.
